Terms of Use
Last updated: September 13, 2026
PawCheck is operated by Voltaix Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By downloading or using PawCheck you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"); these terms add to it.
1. What PawCheck is — and isn't
PawCheck provides informational product-safety scores generated from label contents, published ingredient knowledge and recall information. It is not veterinary advice, and no score, recommendation or article in the app is a substitute for consultation with a licensed veterinarian. Final feeding and care decisions rest with you and your vet.
2. Accuracy
We work hard to read labels accurately, and the app is designed to ask for a retake rather than guess. Still, label reading can err and formulations change. Recall status comes from a curated list of FDA recalls plus a live AI web search, and either can miss a recall or be out of date. Always check the physical label before feeding, especially for allergies.
3. Subscriptions and free trials
PawCheck requires a subscription. The subscription options, price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase — or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then. If you cancel during a free trial at least 24 hours before it ends, you won't be charged.
- Free trials are available once per Apple ID, and Apple decides eligibility. Trial lengths can differ between offers — for example, a creator code can unlock a longer trial than the standard one. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds for App Store purchases.
- Deleting your PawCheck account, or the app, does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in iOS Settings as above.
4. Your account
You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in the app under Settings › Delete account.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos you take and the information you enter. You grant us the limited right to process them to provide the app — for example, sending a label photo to our AI provider to read it.
6. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse engineer the service, abuse the scanning service, or use the app's output to defame product manufacturers. Scores are personalized opinions computed from disclosed rules — presenting them as objective claims about a company is on you, not us.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voltaix Group LLC is not liable for damages arising from reliance on scores or guidance in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
